On Set Updates uses a number of 3rd party data processors to provide its services. In accordance with GDPR rules, below is an outline of the processors used, their purpose and links to their websites.
DigitalOcean provides us with privately networked servers, based in London. DigitalOcean is certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
S3 - Used to store encrypted backups of databases and encrypted customer documents. Stored in London.
Simple Notification Service - Used to send targeted push notifications to customer mobile devices via the On Set Updates mobile app.
AWS are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Used to send transactional email. Sparkpost (Message Systems, Inc) are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Provides email hosting services for the company. Zoho are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Provides billing and invoice services. Chargebee are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Processes payments on behalf of OSS. Stripe are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Used to send newsletter and marketing to users. Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC) are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Browser push notification service. Data is stored in Italy
Provides a real time socket connection for users logged in to the web app, allowing the view to be updated live. Data is stored in the UK.
Customer Relationship Management service. Intercom are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Logs errors on the server and client side applications. Sentry (Functional Software Inc) are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Tracks how users interact with the site. Google are certified compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Provides support services for our mobile application including error monitoring and bug tracking, live app deployment and application builds. Ionic (Drifty Co) are in the process of certifying compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
